Using Domain Alias

  • 0

A domain alias is useful when you have additional domain names that you want people to be able to use to get to your website. For example, if you want your website for mydomain.com wants to be available also through mydomain.net, then alias is your way.

Now let’s start adding or creating your domain alias inside cpanel.

  1. Find Domain Alias or Alias icon
  2. Click the "Aliases" icon.
  3. Enter the new domain, then click "Add Domain".

That’s it! Now when someone browses to mydomain.net, they’ll automatically be redirected to mydomain.com.

Take note that you need the domain to be using the same DNS or nameserver so the redirection will work properly.
